Down Horn Ranch is over 100 acres located just outside of Llano, Texas. We have a small herd of Longhorn cattle, plenty of wildlife, and live creeks running through the property. We are just 5 miles from the beautiful town of Llano Texas, where you can enjoy the Llano River, various restaurants, and shopping on the historic town square. Short 45 minute drive over to Fredricksburg Texas, 10 miles to Enchanted Rock, and several lakes within 30 miles.

There are designated campsites for you to pitch your tent with a trash barrel at each site. After setting up your tent, please enjoy all the wildlife the ranch has to offer. We do feed the wildlife, and there are a few blinds set up but for viewing only. Absolutely NO HUNTING. There are creeks to explore and livestock roaming. Please do not approach the cattle, they are curious by nature, but please keep your distance, their horns can be very dangerous.
