From the forested slopes of the Ozark Mountains and Osage Hills to the red rock cliffs and sweeping prairies of the Panhandle—glamping in Oklahoma is all about escaping the crowds and getting back to nature. Luxury glampsites can be found throughout the state, whether you prefer spending a night in a traditional tipi or a refurbished wagon, renting a fully furnished cabin along Route 66, or checking into a romantic treehouse with a hot tub near Lake Eufaula State Park. There are glamping options in Oklahoma’s state parks, too. Robbers Cave State Park has yurts and a covered wagon, Roman Nose State Park has seasonal teepees, and there are yurt rentals at Natural Falls State Park and Beavers Bend State Park. Winter glampers can cozy up around a wood-burning stove in the wall tent at Osage Hills State Park, or in a heated safari tent by Black Mesa State Park.

In Oklahoma, glamping is a type of outdoor stay combining camping's nature setting with the luxury and convenience of comforts like beds, warm showers, or electricity. When glamping in Oklahoma, there's no need to bring your own tent—instead, glampers may stay the night in a cabin, a vintage Airstream, a canvas bell tent, a yurt, or even a treehouse.

Nestled just a quarter mile from the entrance of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, our glamping village sits on a scenic hill behind our cafe, offering stunning views of Mt. Scott and direct access to nearby hiking trails.

We currently feature two glamping wall tents- Zion and Selah, which include a wooden deck and framed queen-size outfitted beds, bistro table and chairs inside creating a cozy, romantic retreat you won't forget. Both wall tents have an Icy Breeze AC cooler available upon request which helps to stay cool while inside the tent. Our hillside location cools down nicely in the evenings with a lovely breeze. We recommend keeping your mesh windows unzipped and open to allow the wind to gently pass through.

Swim at Bath Lake durring the afternoon, chill inside our cafe, or visit our neighbors at the Aquarium....all great ways to stay cool durring the heat of the day!

We have also recently added a new canvas bell tent- Bethany which features two XL heavy duty twin cots with super comfy mattress toppers, bamboo cooling sheets, and full plush bedding.

Our bathhouse includes two private rooms, each equipped with a camping toilet, pump sink, and thoughtful amenities for your comfort. Our outdoor shower will be refreshing after a long hike as well!

We have two standing outdoor grills for your cooking needs. Both on the gravel parking lot level, one by the covered patio, the other by the picnic area. Bring your own charcoal, for easy lighting and convenient cooking. Please remember to leave no trace, use trash recepticles and do not leave any food out for the wildlife.

Bringing a pet? They are very welcome here, however, we now require a $30 pet fee due to additional cleaning and potential damages. Please add this on to your booking.

For those seeking a more rustic experience, we also offer nine primitive walk-up campsites where you can bring your own tent, or request our pre set tent (requires 48 hrs notice).

Our cafe is conviently open and available with the following regular hours;

Mon & Tues- 8am to 6pm

Wed- CLOSED

Thur- 8am to 6pm

Fri & Sat- 8am to 8pm

The Beaver's Bend State Park is within minutes, as it the Broken Bow Lake. We have owned our property for 12 years, and decided to buy in Hochatown because we had been camping in this area for over 28 years. This area brings us joy, love, peace, tranquility, and seclusion. We love the nature, the water, animals, and sunshine. We even love the rain! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our little piece of Heaven on Earth.

We are also close to all of the Hochatown events, eateries, wineries, & breweries. You can go golfing, swimming, get lost in a "secret room" or get a massage, within a 5 minute drive of our location.

Grab your pillow, towels, swimsuits, toiletries and come on to Broken Bow Lake (2 miles) or Beaver's Bend State Park (5 miles) and enjoy the great outdoors, in style!

A place carved out of history dating back over 200 years ago. This is where history welcomes you to the Cherokee culture. This land has been handed down for generations and has stayed in the family beginning on my mother’s side of the family, Mary Ann Groundhog, the fourth generation great granddaughter of Sequoyah on the “Dick” side of my family tree. My mother was heavily involved with AIM (American Indian movement).

My dad was the last monolingual Cherokee. His name was Mack Vann, he was a man who loved culture and sharing it with visitors and handed down that passion to me. My hip camper site is named after my daddy, I am still a daddy‘s girl. The land originated before Sequoyah. who created the Cherokee syllabary. Sequoyah was my fifth generation great grandfather and I am very proud of my Cherokee heritage, I would love to share my culture, my tradition, and my passion with you.

2 nights at The Porch @ Morning Glory FARM

The property itself is sooo cute! Each tiny home has a very unique look and feel to them. The grounds are also very cute. You can tell Mary loves hosting people and she put a lot of work into her farm.

Now. Let’s talk about Mary! She was by far the sweetest woman I have ever encountered. Met me out front, gave me a complete tour of the property, gave me a gift bag upon arrival with treats for not only me, but also my puppy. She also brought me coffee and a sweet treat every morning. She was attentive in a way I have never experienced. An amazing lady!!

I would definitely come here again if I was ever in the area!

Weekend Trip to Hippie Hill

For a last-minute decision made while enjoying the amazing food in the cafe, this was an incredible experience! We were especially grateful to Darrell for upgrading us to the larger tent. The site is just a short distance from Mt Scott and Medicine Park. Plan for >1 night to enjoy designated areas for sunset watching, outdoor games, and campfires. An outdoor stage with live music on select days and a Saturday morning yoga session. The Healthy Hippie Cafe & Bar, can't say enough. The level of hospitality from Darrell and the cafe staff, Dani and Daisy, was impeccable. Sitting outside at sunset and hearing both the sounds of nature and the music drifting up from the blues festival in Medicine Park was a great treat. At night, the highway traffic dies down and it gets very quiet, save for the wind and local wildlife. Bring an eye mask if you require total darkness, there is a streetlight nearby and early sunrise light. For those unfamiliar with glamping, please note that it offers comfort, but it is not a luxury hotel room: Darrell provides a portable AC cooler to help keep the tent cool, but canvas tents naturally fluctuate with the outdoor temperature. The heavy-duty wall tents are set on elevated wooden decks, which helps keep critters away. Tents do not have ensuite bathrooms. There's a shared, dedicated, eco-friendly bathroom and a unique enclosed outdoor shower. It is significantly better than a standard campground, but will require walking outside. We'll be back!

Weekend Trip to Peoria Hills

The cabin is perfect. John is great he helped us with getting to town after our car broke down. The grounds has so much to offer. I came in Nov seen John building the cabin and had to come back. We will definitely come back in the future. We had firewood and a fire starter for us. It was a perfect weekend to a rough start with our car.

A beautiful reprieve on our cross country drive. The dome was so cozy and well kept. Cooking on the fire infront of the pond was the perfect way to spend our evening. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Mary was a wonderful host and had so many nice touches. Fresh lemonade with ice on a hot day was a very welcome treat along with delicious oatmeal cookies.

Her accommodations are truly adorable and she clearly cares a lot about her guest experience and think of all the details. I’ll definitely be back thank you Mary!

4 nights at Hippie Hill

Fantastic place! Darrel and Kelli are amazing hosts, the Zion tent has an absolutely beautiful view of Mt Scott, and the area is just beautiful too.

I stayed here for work so I didn't get a chance to eat at their restaurant (this trip at least) or enjoy the trails but everything here was great. They have a small covered patio was comfortable furniture to watch the sunset from.

This was early August so it was hot, they provided an IcyFreeze which isn't as strong as AC but does help a lot! Pair it with a battery operated fan for best results.

The bed itself was very comfortable, there's a steady breeze for ventilation, and the shower was nice and cold in the mornings. Much more effective than coffee.

I would and will stay here again for work or bringing my wife up here for a trip too.

2 nights at Morning Light Mountain Lodge

Yes, I would absolutely recommend Morning Light Mountain Lodge. My stay exceeded my expectations. The cabin felt cozy and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the peaceful setting made it a great place to slow down and decompress from city life.

Karri Ann and Jason were wonderful hosts, and you can tell they have put a lot of care into making the cabin comfortable and inviting. I truly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return.

Thank you, Ernest Sanchez

Stayed in the creekside A-frame cabin. Was so cozy and though the temps were scorching my dog an I stayed pretty cool at this spot in the shade and with the nice breeze each day! Looking forward to staying here again. The critters are adorable🫏🐐🐕🐓 The area is relaxing, it is private and about 20 minutes to downtown Tulsa, 40 ish to Broken Arrow. So not too far from places to visit!

Weekend Trip to The Porch @ Morning Glory FARM

What an incredible first Hipcamp experience! I was lucky enough to be my host’s very first guest, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome.

She greeted me with a homemade spice cake when I arrived, sent me off the next morning with fresh homemade biscuits and her delicious homemade apricot jam, and even put together a thoughtful little gift bag with snacks for the road. Those personal touches made me feel less like I was renting a campsite and more like I was being welcomed into someone’s home.

The campsite itself was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what I needed after several days of hiking and exploring that ended with a long car ride. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my stay. Mary has such a generous heart and a genuine gift for hospitality. I sincerely hope this is the first of many, many guests for her because she deserves every booking she gets. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, relaxing, and filled with kindness, I can’t recommend this Hipcamp enough.

Weekend Trip to Hippie Hill

I loved the area and the hosts were amazing 🙌🏼. The food was delish and a short walk from the tent. The fireworks on the 4th was right across from us and we sat in the chairs and enjoyed the show and the live DJ was playing great music. All around a great experience and highly recommend

Weekend Trip to Hippie Hill

The hosts were awesome, very welcoming. Gave us an awesome recommendation for a swimming spot. We purchased the firewood and he had a fire all built and ready to light when we got there, which was awesome. The bed was very comfy. We did not end up staying all night because it was too hot on the day we picked, but will likely book another visit for a cooler time.
