Whether you’re hopping between wineries in Texas Hill Country, kayaking or paddleboarding along the San Marcos River near Austin, hiking and horseback riding in the state parks, or ziplining through the Wimberley Valley, you’ll find glamping options nearby. The best glamping spots range from glamping tents, yurts, and tipis to vintage trailer rentals and treehouses, and campsites often come replete with modern comforts. Snuggle up in a king-size bed in Marfa, cook up some Texas BBQ in an outdoor kitchen outside Dallas, or relax in a hammock beside an Airstream as you melt some s’mores over the fire pit or heat up the hot tub. When temperatures soar—Texan summers often top 100°F—luxury glamping getaways come equipped with air conditioning and private decks for stargazing, while winter campers can cozy up in heated safari tents and glamping cabins.
In Texas, glamping is a type of outdoor stay combining camping's nature setting with the luxury and convenience of comforts like beds, warm showers, or electricity. When glamping in Texas, there's no need to bring your own tent—instead, glampers may stay the night in a cabin, a vintage Airstream, a canvas bell tent, a yurt, or even a treehouse.

We have a lot of fun here and have become a real social spot in this incredible community. When staying here you can expect to meet other travelers and locals alike. If you play music, all the better, as music usually fills the air here. From the house piano to any number of friends who stop by just to jam for a while. Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods. In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. Our staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and we can’t guarantee it will be if you arrive before then. Parking, we work really hard to keep our property beautiful. Be sure to park in parking areas only.

Weekend Trip to Good Guad Land Co.
We had the best time in this little cabin. Everything was tidy and nice. It was a quick drive for our Guadalupe Peak hike. We actually had phone signal the whole time we were there and Google Maps also worked. The window unit kept us cool in the day and warm at night

1 night at Good Guad Land Co.
Wes’s property was just a pit stop while heading north, but I’d gladly come back and spend several nights here. The ac helped keep us and the dogs comfortable during the Texas heat, and the views are out of this world. If you’re traveling past dusk, definitely use the precise gps coordinates he gives you to find the entrance since it can be hard to see at night. (Wes clearly mentions this and his directions are great). The deck’s views are spectacular and definitely the highlight of the property There is a bit of road noise till late at night since the property isn’t far from the road, but it can’t be heard while inside the shelter if ac is running.

What a beautiful treat out in the desert! The view of El Capitan from the roof top is superb. Wonderful, communicative hosts! Instructions were smooth and clear!! Clean outhouse facility. We really enjoyed our trip. This was our first camping trip after losing a dear family member - we had a mission to climb Guadalupe Peak again in honor of his birthday, and this was the perfect location to acclimate the day before and then relax afterwards at the end of the day!! Highly recommend booking with Good Guad!!

Weekend Trip to Outpost 203 - Camp & Glamp
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We are truly grateful for such a wonderful stay! ❤️ We visited last Saturday, and unfortunately, the rain came down quite heavily. We were a little worried that the weather might ruin our family camping experience, but our amazing host went above and beyond and generously allowed us to upgrade our booking to a cabin.
That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us. Instead of worrying about the rain, we were able to relax, stay warm and comfortable, and simply enjoy precious time together as a family. 🥰
Thank you so much for your kindness, understanding, and hospitality. Sometimes it’s the little acts of kindness that make a trip truly memorable, and your thoughtfulness made our stay extra special. ❤️
We had such a great time and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommended! 🏕️🌧️❤️

Weekend Trip to this is Paradise on Lake Texoma
I loved the way the cabins were spaced out enough for privacy. The grounds were nice. The only recommendation I have is to have the guest that are traveling with pets pick up their pets waste. I seen plenty of pet owners walk their dogs to use the bathroom but not pick up after them. Other than that it was great

A unique place and experience, would stay again 100%.
Great views, great host, great vibes, all the comforts included.
Way better than a motel or a regular AirBnb, don’t think twice.

We were passing through on a trip from Dallas to the coast, so only stayed one night, but Terry's Cozy Cabin was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we were looking for.

I absolutely loved this place. The river was beautiful with crystal clear water. I would recommend bringing some portable fans if youre going in the summer the ac has a hard time keeping up in the middle of the day.

It was such a nice little getaway, very quiet and peaceful. Definitely the perfect glamping experience. The cabins were very well kept and we loved the communal kitchen, everything was great quality. Also, the amenities of having the pool and and the sauna available was nice!

Weekend Trip to Outpost 203 - Camp & Glamp
Had a great time! It was our first glamp so if it helps anyone: wifi password is not in greeting msg and is in location listing, tent gets dark and outdoor shower doesn't have light so bring your lantern, and there is very limited surface to cook so bringing folding table helps.

Absolutely stunning, both the accommodation and location. We've been to quite a few unusual hipcamps and off-grid airbnbs and this was by far the cleanest and maintained of them all. We were able to get a hike in early and come back to rest in the AC before cooking lunch and heading out. I'd say we hope to be back sometime, but no idea when we'd be back this way. Would definitely recommend!

I had to pivot from original plans and ended up here last minute. What an incredible slice of magic. Everything was so clean and straightforward. The outhouse became one of my most favorite photos out on the property. The night sky here will keep you late enough that you’ll miss a good sunrise, and you’ll still be satisfied. The hosts were so kind and prompt.
